VICTORIAS SECRET HAIR tutorial for BEACH WAVES / CURLS No HEAT like Candice Swanepoel

It’s November which means Scorpios are celebrating their time to shine as it's our birth month (we tend to hang out in the shadows this is a rare thing for us and we lap it up!) as are the the Victoria’s Secret angels who go into preening and primping overdrive for the big show!
To coincide with the lingerie hysteria I start getting daily hair and workout video requests that are tied into different Victorias Secret models. The most popular question is  “How do I get the bombshell-esque waves without damaging my hair with heat?” So I’m sharing one of my favorite heat free hairstyles.
While it may not transform you into Candice Swanepoel, it will give your hair plenty of volume and sexy runway bounce without turning into a dry frizzy pumpkin after midnight because it’s been fried to a crisp from heat stylers!
Heat = damage. Having long hair with highlights I need to take extra care of my locks or they turn from glossy gold to straw! Sure styling hair with heated curlers and straighteners gives a beautiful short term effect, but as we all know as soon as we wash our hair, the style disappears and we are left with damage to the hair shaft that can haunt us for months resulting in dry frizzy tangly hair that leaves us tempted to turn to the heat stylers again….and thus the vicious cycle begins!
I’m also quite lazy with my hair and generally let it air dry and give it a 5 second brush and a swipe of coconut oil on the ends. For special occasions or when I want to add more volume I use the technique in the video below. I love the large beachy waves it creates.
Do you have shorter hair? If you have shorter hair you may need to section your hair into two or three buns at the top of your head instead of one.
What product should I use? There isn’t any need to use a styling product, however you may like to use a little coconut oil on the very ends to control frizz and give some shine. I know I mention an Aveda product in this video however I have since become a little suspicious of Aveda as it is connected to other companies that test on animals…please keep this in mind and keep it cruelty free.
If you try this out I would love to hear about your results!
