How To Grow Long Healthy Hair

I hardly ever go to the hairdresser, maybe once per year when it starts to get to long to handle. Most of the time I cut and highlight my hair myself. Over the years I have learnt what works best for me, and while I may not end up with the most polished look, for the time and money I save, Im happy :) And let's be honest here, I'm not pedantic about my hair, I'm lucky if I brush it! And this somewhat lazy attitude to my hair has rewarded me with healthy shiny locks as it means I hardly ever use heat styling tools - a perfect yet somewhat unkempt win win!  You CAN Have Long Healthy Hair! Creamy Vegan Carbonara

This truly is a creamy, decadent, guilt-free comfort food. Sure, it could never compare to the queenly realm of fruits and vegetables, but hey, sometimes you want something warm and dense, almost like a cuddle from the inside. Truth be told, creamy pasta has never interested me. In fact, I don’t think I have ever ordered a plate of it in my life—I might have tried a mouthful from a friends plate here and there over the years, however there was no way that I wanted to be clogging my body up with all of that pointless creamy dairy fat. Considering that the average woman uses over 12,000 tampons in her lifetime, I think it’s important to know what to...

DIY Natural Tea Self Tanning Spray

I grew up in a small coastal town with sand between my toes and the sun on my skin, so when I moved to the city and didn’t have the same easy access to the beach, I lost my bronze glow and turned to using self tanners. This was going back about ten years ago when organic and natural skincare was a rarity. I would have the occasional spray tan for special occasions and the rest of the time I smothered my poor skin in fake tan, totally unaware of the nasties that it contained. These days I’m well and truly back to getting my glow from the original and the best source – the sunshine! If you havent watched...

Lose Weight Naturally With No Diets!

You're not alone. If there is a question that I get asked about on a daily basis, its weight loss. So many people are struggling silently everyday with their weight, and it can have a negative impact on all areas of life, from personal and intimate relationships, to relationships with our friends and family, and most importantly our relationship with ourselves. When I wrote my book ‘Cellulite Can Kiss My Butt’I spent so much time and energy writing the chapter on healing our emotions as I believe that this is what lays at the basis of every healthy body. To have a long standing positive effect on our physical body we need to start with the heart and mind first, as...
